About Me

I was nine years old when I first discovered the world of sports.  I spent that summer following the exploits of Orel Hershiser, Kirk Gibson and the 1988 Los Angeles Dodgers improbable run to a World Series championship.  After watching Hershiser’s scoreless innings streak and Gibby’s Game 1 homer off Dennis Eckersley, I was hooked.  I can still remember standing in the middle of my den as Gibson strode to the plate and almost cracking my skull on the light hanging for the ceiling jumping for joy as the ball left the park.

I’ve lived in the L.A. area almost all my life, so I tend to be partial to L.A. teams, but not always especially when it comes to college sports.  I went to school in Utah majoring in Political Science and minoring in Journalism so I enjoy writing and arguing whatever the topic may be.
